The LWHS Girls Basketball Booster Club's charter is to continually improve and support the high school and the girl's basketball program. We augment the athletic department's budget by raising money to help offset the operational expenses the team incurs throughout the year. We also offer scholarships for our student-athletes who need financial assistance to pay for team fees. Our booster club operates under the Lake Washington High School Booster club, which is a 501 3c organization, which allows our club to accept tax deductible donations and corporate matching gifts (e.g. Expedia, Microsoft). The majority of our fundraising is done by hosting camps, tournaments, an annual game program (see below) and other events.
Since the strength of any program are the athletes who feed into it, we work with closely with parents of the Kangs Select program who support teams from 4th through 8th grade.
While the majority of the Booster Club members are the players’ parent(s), if you have a skill that you'd like to contribute to the program please let us know. We'd love to leverage your skills in photography, design, fund raising and volunteerism.
