Photo: Old LWHS gymnasium prior a new main gym being built in 2009, and the entire school being completely rebuilt in 2010-11. The new north, "auxiliary" gym opened in the fall of 2021. The north gym is where the Varsity and JV Kang games are held while the main gym is where most C team games are held.

2024-25 Varsity
The Varsity's 23-6 record was highlighted by KingCo and District 1/2 tournament wins, winning regionals, a run to the state semi-finals, and the girls setting 7 top-10 season records including 2 point field goals made, 3 pt FGM, points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks. 2023-24 Varsity
The Varsity won their 5th straight KingCo conference and conference tournament by going undefeated. The team was knocked out of the WIAA state tournament in the round of 12. See 2023-24 Championship Season and 2023-24 Photo Archive pages for full season recaps.

The Varsity finished 2nd in the state to Garfield High School for the third year in a row. They repeated as champions in the KingCo 3A regular season (four years in a row) and KingCo tournament (also four years in a row). The Varsity was runner up to Garfield High School for the second year in a row in the Washington state championship game. This "season" was dramatically shortened and altered due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The only games played were against teams within the Lake Washington School District "Pod" in April-May 2021.

In addition to Varsity repeating as both KingCo 3A Conference regular season and Tournament Champions, the team made it all the way to the 3A State Championship game before falling to Garfield.
