Spring 2021 Pandemic Season
Congratulations Rosa! WIAA Week 12 Athlete of the Week
[Our] junior point guard from Lake Washington scored 30 points versus 4A Eastlake to help the team win 63-56. She also had five steals, four assists, four rebounds, and one block. The Kangs finished the truncatex season in first place with a 7-1 record. Smith is also a 4.0 GPA AP-student. As a member of the HOSA Club (Health Occupations Students of America) at LHS, she recently placed fourth for Physical Therapy at the Washington State Leadership Conference.

2019-20 Championship Season
King5 highlights of the State Championship game. The Kangs lost to Garfield, 55-41
Lake Washington's Sophia Liesse and Rosa Smith were named to the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association's all-conference first team and Jeff Wilson was selected as Coach of the Tournament (see previous story).
Evans Ratings named Elise Hani to their second team and Jen Estes to the third team.

Junior Sophia Liesse scored 23 including 7 3-pointers, Sophomore Elise Hani had 16 points and 16 rebounds and Ellie Pederson and Rosa Smith had a combined 13 assists for the 59-41 win.

Congratulations to our Girls' Soccer team (18-1-1) who won the 3A State Championship! Two of our Varsity team players, Senior Jen Estes (photo above) and Junior Ellie Pederson, were members of the championship team!
